APTIF11 Opening Ceremony & HKTS Honorary Fellowship Conferment: Live Streaming Details

With APTIF11 around the corner, we are pleased to share live streaming arrangements for this important event in our Society's calendar.

The Opening Ceremony and Honorary Fellowship Conferment Ceremony will be held on 21 May 2025, from 9.00 to 9.55am (Hong Kong Time). This ceremony, which will honour Prof. Mona Baker, Prof. Chan Sin-wai, Prof. Sun Yifeng, and Prof. Tan Zaixi as HKTS Honorary Fellows, will be open to all without registration through Zoom: https://hkbu.zoom.us/j/99768928232 (Meeting ID: 997 6892 8232).

Under the theme "Culture, Connectivity and Technology: Translating Communities, Transforming Perspectives", APTIF11 features over 200 panel sessions with international speakers discussing the latest developments. The forum notably connects topics that resonate with both academic researchers and industry practitioners, bridging traditional cultural perspectives with technological innovation in translation. This marks a significant milestone in regional collaboration within the translation community, as we explore this dialogue between tradition and innovation.
