Activities and Photos
Over the past five decades, the Society has been active in the cultural arena promoting multifarious activities relating to translation, language and intercultural communication awareness. From time to time, luncheon talks, public seminars and symposiums were held, some in joint presentation with local translation-related departments and Hong Kong Public Libraries. Book talks were also held under the auspices of The Commercial Press Hong Kong. Every year the Society co-organizes the “Hong Kong Youth Translation Competition” – the largest of its kind in the territory – with the Hong Kong Cultural and Arts Competitions Committee.
