We are delighted to report the success of the featured event titled "A Garden of Winding Paths: Towards the Autobiography of a Translator", which was co-organised by the Hong Kong Translation Society (HKTS) and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and took place on Thursday, 6 April 2023. The event was attended by over 70 HKTS members, practicing translators, university scholars, and students. It was delivered in English and simultaneously interpreted into Cantonese for the benefit of the participants. We express our gratitude to Professor John Minford for attending and sharing his passion and perspectives towards literary translation. During the talk, Professor Minford led us through his Garden of Winding Path and his forthcoming autobiography. The event was a great success, and we were delighted to see so many on-site participants engage in lively discussions and exchange their thoughts on the topic.

由香港翻譯學會和香港浸會大學共同舉辦的特別活動「曲徑通幽 · 一家之言」已於2023年4月6日（星期四）成功舉行。活動現場吸引了逾70多名香港翻譯學會會員、譯者、大學學者和學生參加。活動以英語進行，並同時提供廣東話即時傳譯，以方便參加者。我們要感謝閔福德教授的出席和分享。他不僅帶領我們進入他的「小曲園」，還介紹了即將出版的自傳心得。活動取得了圓滿成功，參加者踴躍參與討論，分享意見。
